REDW-2020 Author Instructions
Congratulations on the acceptance of your summary for presentation at the 2019 IEEE Radiation Effects Data Workshop. I look forward to seeing you in San Antonio, TX and working with you as we take your contribution through presentation at the Workshop and the publication process for the Workshop Record.
This letter will discuss several issues relevant to the Workshop and the Workshop Record. Let's start with the REDW publication schedule. REDW-2017 Publication Schedule
Posters not taken down by close of business Friday will be discarded, as we will need to return the poster boards.
Poster Instructions: Formatting instructions for your poster presentation are posted at nsrec.com. Please adhere closely to these requirements. Paper Instructions: Please use the template as your style guide. Contrary to what the template describes, IEEE will not be doing the final format for the REDW papers. Final formatting will be done by you. All figures are to be inserted in the paper at the appropriate place by you. Do not include author photos or biographies. The page limit for REDW documents is eight (8) pages. You may request more pages if you have significant data to provide or another compelling reason. There is no requirement to use all the pages, so shorter papers are also welcome.
For purposes of editorial review, please send me your final paper draft as early as possible but before July 8 via email to kirby.kruckmeyer@ti.com. The draft softcopy paper may be in Microsoft Word (or something readable by Word) or Adobe pdf. The draft must be formatted in the final state for this submission. I will review each Workshop paper for editorial correctness before submission to IEEE for publication. Technical content is not the primary consideration for this review. I will work with the individual authors in case changes are needed. These changes will need crisp execution because of the tight publication deadline. Your final paper is due July 26. IEEE will set up a website for online submission of your final paper for inclusion in the Radiation Effects Data Workshop Record. Do not submit your final version of the paper until it has been reviewed and approved by me. After approval I will supply you with the website for submission. Please note that you are also required to complete an IEEE copyright form at the time of submission. You will be directed to that link when your submission procedure is completed. Please feel free to give me a call or send me an email if you have questions.
