Hotel Reservations:
For non-government attendees, the negotiated group room rate is $129.00 + tax for single or double occupancy. A government rate is offered @ $116.25 plus tax, single or double, which is 25% above the current Federal Government Per Diem – an acceptable rate when attending a conference. There is no additional charge for children 18 years of age and under when sharing a room with an adult and utilizing existing beds. Each third and fourth adult in the room (19 years of age and older) will be charged $20.00 + tax per night.
Reservations can be made by calling Marriott Reservations toll-free at 800-266-9432 within the U.S. or Canada. You can also call the hotel directly at 702-869-7777. Ask for the IEEE NSREC block to ensure that you are getting our special rates.

All rooms must be guaranteed with a credit card or a check deposit. The cut-off for IEEE NSREC reservations is at 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on June 24, 2011. Once the room block has been filled OR after the cut-off date (whichever comes first!), room accommodations will be confirmed on a space available basis. Early reservations are strongly suggested!
Please be certain to notify the hotel of any change to your arrival or departure dates. When you check into the hotel, be sure to verify your departure date. Any cancellation must be made by no later than 6:00 PM on the day prior to your arrival. Failure to cancel by that time will result in loss of your deposit or a charge to the credit card that was provided as a “guarantee.”

IEEE NSREC Attendees:
The NSREC block of guest rooms at the JW Marriott Las Vegas has completely sold out on some nights. We do have a “waitlist” for cancelled rooms, if you are interested. To do this, you must call our meeting planning company, ETC Services, tel: 720-733-2003. They will add you to the list and then try to facilitate “name changes” when we have cancellations.
For those of you who may need to CANCEL YOUR ATTENDANCE at the conference, we ask that you do not contact the hotel to cancel your room reservation! Instead, help out your fellow NSREC attendees by allowing us to process a room “name change” instead of a room cancellation. Please call the phone number listed above for instructions.
In the interim, if you need a room in the Summerlin area, the following are some alternative hotel options that you can contact. The distance from these hotels to the Marriott is noted.
